How do I reset a mailbox password?

You can reset a mailbox password from the mail management area for the affected mailbox. Set a strong new password, save the change, and then update that password in any email clients or mobile devices currently using the old one.

If the old password remains saved in a device, repeated login failures can continue even after the reset. When troubleshooting, always update every client that accesses the mailbox.

Use a unique password and avoid reusing passwords from other services.
